Ether (ETH) holds on to its position as the largest altcoin by market capital, currently $ 21.9 billion, the second largest altcoin, Ripples XRP, has a market share of $ 12.45 billion at press time.

While Tezos (XTZ) saw a price rise earlier this week following Coinbase's announcement of support for the coin, XTZ is down by just over 5% the day from press time, the biggest loss among the top 20 cryptocurrencies.
