An herbal supplement used by both adults and infants has been recalled to a choking hazard. the presence of an undissolved ingredient, citrus flavonoid, which could make swallowing difficult.
The product was distributed throughout the United States by Dollar General, according to the US Food and Drug Administration.
Kingston Pharma LLC has received one report of a one-week infant with difficulty when swallowing the product and three complaints attributed to the undissolved citrus flavonoid.
The product is administered orally to infants and adults. It is packed in 4-ounce amber bottles with white plastic caps and oral syringes.
