AT&T restores 911 service after defining cellphone customers nationwide AT & T

A nationwide service outage that prevented AT&T cellphone customers from calling 911 early Tuesday morning has been restored, company officials said
"Earlier this morning some wireless customers may have been unable to connect to 911, "read a statement issued by the company at 8:20 am "The Tarrant County 911 District reported the outage in a tweet around 6:30 am
" This is [affecting] the ability to reach 9- "Tarrant County's tweet read 1-1 on a cell phone if you have AT&T." "If you need to reach 9-1-1 call from a landline phone with a different service provider." Earlier, emergency services departments in Keller, North Richland Hills, Arlington, Irving and Southlake reported total outages or AT&T cell service.
Landlines were not impacted and all 91[ads1]1 centers were up and running as normal during the outage.
