AT & T rolls out its 5G mobile network to seven additional cities

AT & T, Verizon and T-Mobile are still locked in the bitter race for 5G, and there is no end in sight. However, AT&T has probably taken the lead as late, and expanded its true 5G network (not the controversial "5G Evolution" service) to a much wider range of cities than its competitors.

AT & T's total 5G-supported city numbers have set at 12 so far, compared to Verin's two. Now the number is being amplified to 19, when AT&T officially brings 5G to seven more cities, including Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco and Austin.

"In December, we officially presented the nation's first commercial mobile 5G service," said AT & T Lab's president Andre Fuetsch in a statement. "We spent early this year accelerating and developing our 5G early adopters network on our site. . And now it's time to offer this experience to more companies and consumers in another 7 cities. "

However, AT & T itself is not shy about noting that this rollout is only for" Early Adopters "at the moment, which is a great way to say that coverage is limited. Not all AT&T customers in the aforementioned cities will necessarily have access to 5G right away.

AT & T has not published a 5G coverage card while it is written, but we will reach out to the company to see if one can be given.

As for AT & T's future 5G plans, the company hopes to have some of the highest mobile data rates available. available and "nationwide coverage" by Q1 or Q2 2020. Whether or not the cellular provider can make these plans a reality remains to be seen.
