COLD WATER, Miss. – The story of a woman driving an electric cart and drinking wine from a Pringles can at Walmart become an inspiration for an artist in the Mississippi.
The story went viral earlier this month after the woman was banned from a Wichita Falls Walmart. The police were called after allegedly drinking and driving the carriage for several hours. She was found at a nearby restaurant and told that she was not allowed back in the store.
Celeste Powers, owner of The Cup Artist, began selling Pringles can-themed wine tumblers on her Etsy side shortly after the Walmart story went viral.
"When the Pringles / Wine article ran, I couldn't help laughing. You can really see and experience everything at Walmart," Powers told Fox 4 News. "I felt bad when Walmart forbade her because we all have host where is not true? "
The etsy description for tumblers says:
" Pringles wine tumbler with lid and straw. Now you can be like the lady banned from walmart on electric scooter.
Slim 20 oz tumbler Tailored with Pringles logo and Custom nutrition label. Cups come as shown. No further changes can be made to our design interpretation. Great for your friends or mothers who endure long walks in Walmart and need to drink wine from a Pringles can. "
Powers said that she herself would be willing to send one to the woman who inspired her creations. "She might just enjoy coffee at the next shopping experience." Read more here.
