Apple catches on Amazon fire (no, not the tablets)

Brazil just rejected $ 20 million in the Amazon's forest firefighting aid package that was quickly put together during the G7 summit in Biarritz, probably because of the feud between the top host – the French president – and his Brazilian colleagues who spilled into the open air.

The country may be more open to private donations, and Apple CEO Tim Cook just announced that the company will give to fight the fires currently raging through the Amazon rainforest.
Apple's CEO is a renowned nature aficionado, and recently that company celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the US National Park Service with an Apple Pay donation program, a Apple Watch Activity Challenge and special content and collections on Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and more.

It is not yet clear what financial outlay Amazon will have fire donation entails, but we will learn soon enough, perhaps with a new press release on Apple's website.
