A widespread computer outage is affecting passengers on American, Alaska and JetBlue airlines Tuesday morning.
Several airlines are reporting issues with the airport and online, and some say their planes can't board or take off.
American Airlines spokesman Ross Feinstein said the problem is related to the Saber computer reservation system.

Just before noon Eastern, Saber also apologized "Eastern time, American said in a statement that was a brief technical glitch and has been resolved."
"We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience," American said. via Twitter and said "recovery is in progress."
Airlines were counting passengers to be patient, with JetBlue responding to one passenger's tweet: "Hang tight, we'll assist as soon as we can. "
