Amazon Prime Day, an annual shopping event for Prime members, comes up on July 1[ads1]5. Prime Day will last 48 hours and kick up what is surely a tornado of offers. If you are not a Prime member yet, you can still trade these deals by signing up or trying it for free for 30 days.
We are still two weeks away from the big midsummer sales event, and while some good deals have already begun, there are some things you can do to get the best deals for you and your family. Here are some ways to make sure you're a pro to use Amazon before Prime Day.
Share Your Prime Benefits
There is no need to pay full price for multiple Prime accounts in your home if someone already has one. You can share with another adult and you can even give your children access (kids will need your permission for any purchase). You share the same benefits, like free next day or two-day shipping and Prime video streaming.

Use the 30-Day Free Trial
If you just want to use the Amazon for Prime Day offers, sign up for the 30-day free trial. You have the same benefits as paying Prime users for the entire trial period. You can always cancel after Prime Day is over to avoid membership fees. Insert a calendar reminder if you plan to cancel.
Get on the waiting list
It is typical that a popular brand with a fine sales code quickly goes into shopping carts. But buyers get 15 minutes to check out, and if they don't have that time, the item is removed from their carts. Get a student or Medicaid discount
If you are a student or have Medicaid, you can get a discount on Amazon Prime. So, instead of paying $ 13 each month, you pay $ 6. You must confirm your qualification by submitting the appropriate documentation. If you are a student, you can scan a copy of the transcription or student ID. For the Medicaid discount, enter your EBT number and send a photo of the card – or submit the Medicaid documentation.
