Amazon buys a $ 3.9 billion medical in health care
Amazon Inc. has agreed to buy 1Life Healthcare which operates a primary health service under the name One Medical, for $ 3.9 billion including debt, the retail giant’s latest entry into the healthcare industry.
Amazon said Thursday that it pays $ 18 per share in cash for San Francisco-based 1Life Healthcare. Based on a recently revealed share count, the deal will be worth around $ 3.5 billion excluding debt.
