AKRON, Ohio – Amazon has announced plans to open two new fulfillment centers in Ohio, one in Akron and the other in Rossford.
The company says it will create more than 2,500 full-time jobs.
According to a press release, each fulfillment center will be over 700,000 square feet.
The press release does not say where the fulfillment center will be located in Akron, the former Rolling Hills Mall was earmarked for commercial space by a city council vote in 2018.
