Hello, and welcome back to Equity, TechCrunch's venture capital focused podcast, where we extract the numbers behind the headlines.
Today we take back an old Equity format: The Shot.
No, I haven't started drinking again. Equity Shots are short taking on breaking news. And no news was more explosive recently than words Slack has filed to become publicly confidential. Insurable by the fact that we do not see the figures (yet), but the public in the fact that the company went ahead and told the world that it had filed, privately, with the SEC.
As, as our own Danny Crichton points out, is open yet again now that the government has reopened.
If you want to keep up with the numbers while talking, this is the post where most of my notes are and you can read all of TechCrunch's Slack coverage here.
We're back in a snap with our regular weekly episode on Friday. Stay cool!
Equity falls every Friday at 6:00 pm PT, then subscribe to us at Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Downcast and all the gangs.
