MADISON, Wis. – The number of Shopko locations closed in Wisconsin is now up to 42, according to a list on the company's website.
Last year, Shopko officials announced that they were closing stores nationwide, and added the list of closures since. The Wisconsin-based company filed for bankruptcy in January.
The updated list shuts down the latest of Shopko's Dane County presence with all the places in Madison and Monona in the spring. The list also includes closures in Watertown, Beloit, Columbus, Mauston and Mayville.
Shopko is based in Green Bay.
