2 aircraft hit the tails at Charlotte-Douglas in front of the start, officials say



CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WTVD) – Two American Eagle aircraft operated by PSA Airlines collided on Sunday morning while standing on a port at Charlotte Douglas airport, according to our news gathering partners at WSOC.

The authorities said Flight 5141 had 59 passengers and Flight 5366 had 64 passengers when they collided around noon. 9:30. Both aircraft have allegedly been taken out of service for inspection, which means that all 123 passengers have to plan new flights.

No injuries have been reported.

"They came together in one place, so I didn't know exactly what was happening. It was just a big rebellion with lots of lighthouses, and normally you don't see things out there when we see the planes going off land," witnesses Michelle Swann told WSOC. "I haven't seen such a thing."
